Get another job and trade your hours for those additional dollars (that you only get if you work).
Start a business with your hard earned saved money, according US Bureau of Labor 2/3 of small businesses don't make it past 10 years, that's a pretty big risk.
Invest in real estate, it isn't always true but you probably need some money for that investment and it isn't likely that it will require no work.
Invest in the stock market, you will likely wait decades for those whopping 6-10% returns on your investment.
WHAT IS LEFT? Our business - it requires work but you can spend as little as 30 minutes a day on it, CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY - THAT is where most people fail. Sound familiar? 7/10 who join a gym in January quit by May, if you want it to work, you cannot quit.
The investment is laughable - and you eat it. The health of you your family improves as a result of your business startup so is it an investment in your business or your health it doesn't matter - it can still be written off.
Some tips about our industry that I can share after my 14 years here - there are THOUSANDS of companies you can join, be wise about your choice.
*The product you are sharing should be for 100% of the demographic (not just weight loss for those who struggle with weight or skin care for ladies or for those who can afford skin care)
*The usage of the products should evoke an emotional response that people are passionate about sharing because of the results they have received
*The products need to be something that is repurchased often (not a pan or clothing that will last the buyer 5 years)
*The company should NOT be brand new, most of them fail in the first five years, trust me... you don't want to be involved in a startup
*The company's products should NOT be a household name in your city already, if it is, you have no one to tell
*If you have never been successful in this industry (>$100k per year of residual income) you need a leader with a system that will duplicate to plug into
